First response. Usually faster - straight from David.

National

We can organise the logistics. AU + NZ, mine sites included. Freight terms agreed per deal.

Confidential

NDA on request. Buyers see the tyres, not the source.

/ How we structure the deal

Three ways we buy.

Option 1

Direct purchase

We buy the lot outright at an agreed price. Fastest settlement of the three, lowest hassle on your end. Price and payment timing are agreed in writing per deal.

Best when speed matters

Option 2

Consignment

Stock stays on your books until it sells. We market through our channels and remit on settlement.

Best for maximum return

Option 3

Sole-seller

Confidential sole-channel arrangement. Protects your trading position on sensitive stock.

Best for sensitive dispersal

/ How it works

Three steps. That's it.

01

Tell us what you've got

Quick form below. Even a rough description is enough to start - we'll come back with questions if we need detail.

02

We put a number on it

Desktop valuation first. For larger lots we'll come and inspect. NDA in place if you want one. What you get is a trader's view of what the stock should move for, not a formal or independent valuation.

03

Move & settle

Pick a deal structure that suits you. We can organise the freight, the sale and the settlement, with freight costs and payment timing agreed in the deal.

/ Settlement

Payment lands no later than 30 days from title passing or a correct invoice, whichever is later.

That is the outer limit, not the target. Faster settlement is common on outright purchases and is agreed in writing deal by deal.

/ Submit stock details

Tell us about your stock.

Six fields. Two minutes. Need confidentiality? Tick the box and we'll handle the rest under NDA.

Questions sellers ask

How fast does Jewell Tyres pay for tyres it buys?

Under our Standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase, payment is made no later than 30 days after title to the goods passes or after a correctly rendered invoice, whichever is the later. That is the outer limit, not the target. Faster settlement is common on an outright purchase, and whatever we agree goes in writing for that deal.

Who pays freight when Jewell Tyres buys your tyres?

By default the price you quote us includes taxes and duties and all pre-delivery costs, including insurance and freight to the agreed place of delivery, so freight to us sits with you. We can organise the transport, including remote and mine site pickups, and where we agree a different freight arrangement it goes in the purchase order for that deal.

What happens if the tyres don't match the description?

The goods have to be free from defects in materials and workmanship and of merchantable quality. We may inspect them at any time and reject anything that doesn't comply with the contract, including after acceptance. Rejected goods are replaced or repaired at no cost to us, or removed with payment refunded, and we don't pay for rejected goods or for the costs of inspection or rejection. Describe the stock accurately up front and this never comes up.

What warranty do you give when you sell tyres to Jewell Tyres?

Where no other warranty is agreed, the warranty period is 90 days from our acceptance. If we notify a defect or omission in that period, you correct it without delay at no cost to us or issue a refund, at our election, and cover the packing, freight and handling that goes with it. Consumer guarantees under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) still stand.

How does Jewell Tyres value a lot of surplus OTR tyres?

Desktop first, off size, brand, quantity, condition mix and location, then a physical inspection for larger lots. The number is our opinion as an independent trader based on what comparable stock has been moving for. It is not a formal or independent valuation, and the price for any deal is what we agree in writing. Full detail sits in our Standard Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
