Contracts entered into with Jewell Tyres are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit irrevocably to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts. Disputes go to good faith negotiation first. If that doesn't settle it, either party may refer the matter to mediation by a mediator we agree on, or failing agreement one appointed by the President of the Law Institute of Victoria. If mediation hasn't resolved the dispute within 21 days, it goes to arbitration: under the Commercial Arbitration Act 1984 (Vic) where both parties have their places of business in Australia, or under the International Arbitration Act 1974 (Cth) where the other party's place of business is outside Australia.
